Horse Show
Family-friendly and competitive horse show in Broward County
About Heritage
Heritage Horse Show was established in 2002 by Butch Medlin with the help of his daughters, Lauren and Shannon. The family had competed at the local and rated shows in the tri-county area for years and a need for a new hunter/jumper circuit arose. Shows began at Tropical Park in Miami, Florida but later found their permanent homebase at the Plantation Equestrian Center. Heritage is known for a fun atmosphere that provides an organized, quality competition. Many of the alumni have gone on to compete at top national levels and Grand Prixes. Everyone's favorite part of Heritage Horse Show is the sense of family and community that is felt amongst the trainers, riders, parents and staff. Many will attest that the annual awards party is second to none and one of the best night's of the year. Heritage is such a popular local show that stalls are sold out weeks in advance for nearly every hunter/jumper show. Divisions are offered for every age and level at both hunter/jumper and dressage shows.
