Welcome Back! |
| We kicked off our sixth HIP circuit this month and what fun it was. It is nice to see everyone back in the saddle and show ring. We had a fantastic turnout and welcomed both new and old friends. Our new schedule and divisions were a success. We are now running the under saddle and flat classes before the over fences classes. This way we can make sure everybody is ready at the ring. It seemed to reduce conflicts at our first show. Another new addition: TROPHIES. We gave away trophies for first place winners and we will be doing this all year. Heritage gift certificates will also be available and other prizes will be added later. Points are posted throughout the circuit at www.heritagehorseshow.com. They are available within two weeks after the show. |
Jump The Moon |
| The September show could not have been better. The weather was great and the lightning siren was not a threat. Thank Goodness! We were missing many usual faces but had a few new barns. Thanks for your support Pablo Gamboa/World Class Equestrian Center and Pico Martinez/La Cuadra. Welcome back Competition Farm. The classics and addbacks all filled with entries and we awarded over $3,800 throughout the weekend. Congratulations to the classic winners: Kickboxer and Tiffany Sanchez ($500 Beginning Jumper), Ventura 5 and Stephanie Suits ($500 Hopeful Jumper), Danny and Norma Nahmad ($1000 Training Jumper) and Nebraska ridden by Miguel Sarmiento for Manuel Diaz ($1000 Low Schooling Jumper). Points are also available on the website for our jumper circuit. Finally, most of you have seen our new jumps but we hope to add more to the field by November. The jumps can be seen on the website and are custom built by Butch. Contact him if you are interested in purchasing jumps for your barn. |
Coming in October |
| Next month we will be having a hunter and jumper show in Tropical Park on October 11 & 12. This show will be a combination of HIP and Jump The Moon. The jumpers will be on the grass peninsula. Also, a Halloween costume contest will be held Saturday afternoon. It is open to everyone and is always a lot of fun every year. Heritage will also be hosting a party Friday afternoon to celebrate the arrival of Omar and Vivianne’s little boy due in November. Food, beverages and desserts are welcomed. |
Reservations |
| November 1 & 2 will also be a combined show for HIP and Jump The Moon. The show will be at Plantation Equestrian Center where a limited number of stalls are available. It is important to reserve your stalls early. We want to have an approximate number so that temporary tent stalls may be set up if necessary. For more information, please contact Butch at heritagehorsesho@aol.com or 954.347.1799. |
Clinic |
| Please look for more information on the Frank Madden clinic in late December or early January. The details are being finalized but it will be held at Plantation Equestrian Center. Spots will be limited. |
