What a way to end the summer! |
| Our August show at Plantation was a success. With 90 horses and 110 entries, we had a great turnout for hunters and jumpers. The entries in the jumper ring were HUGE. We saw 20 riders in Beginning Jumper and the other divisions were almost as large. Congratulations to the classic winners: Andrea Villalba- $500 Beginning Jumper, Nicole Steinmann- $500 Hopeful Jumper, Aubree Kendall- $1000 Training Jumper, and Amanda Hill- $1000 Low Schooling Jumper. Saturday the weather held out for most of the day with a torrential downpour 10 minutes after the jumper ring concluded. We would like to welcome many new members to the Heritage family and thank returning members for their support. Good job to all you riders that moved up to new divisions for the 2009-2010 season. We are looking forward to a fantastic year and the addition of a few new barns to our family. |
Celebration 2009 |
| We celebrated the 2008 – 2009 season August 16 in Miami. Heritage would like to thank all who attended and congratulate the award recipients. These riders demonstrated dedication, hard work and enthusiasm that deserved to be recognized. We hope we can have another season just as special as the last. Congratulations to the Overall Circuit Champions: Beginning Rider- Kelly Lentoski, Hunter Rider- Emily Allongo, Equitation Rider- Hilary Bennett, and Hunter Horse- Felicity owned and ridden by Karen Tongen. |

News |
| We would like to welcome our new show secretary, Dee Rodriguez, to the Heritage Family. Dee is a fellow rider in reining who relocated to Broward from Kissimmee earlier this year. She has two horses, Reny and Steady. Also, Heritage would like to remember and honor a special member of our show community, Connie Williams, who passed away August 18, 2009. Connie and her family have been supporting Heritage since 2005. She was a remarkable woman who will be deeply missed. |
